“Minari” star Alan S. Kim — just turned 9 — is going to wear “a tuxedo or something” to tonight’s Oscars ceremony.
“I haven’t traveled at all during the pandemic,” said Emmy Award winner Ashley Nicole Black. “At first, I was spending a lot of my down time taking long walks with my dog — too long. She started refusing the walks! My mom built a gazebo in her backyard with a couch, chairs, fans, a TV, the works. So, our new vacation spot is her backyard with a glass of ice tea.”
“I had planned to visit Tadanobu Asano, who plays Lord Raiden in ‘Mortal Kombat,’ in Japan to catch the cherry blossom festival.” said Chin Han, who portrays Shang Tsung in the film. “But it was not to be (due to the pandemic).”
“My parents took me to Yosemite at a very young age and I loved everything about it — climbing the rocks, finding sticks, looking at the stars and riding a very stubborn donkey named Chocolate,” said “City on a Hill” actress Keiko Elizabeth.
“I feel like New York’s my home away from home,” said Australian actress Lexie Duncan, one of the stars of “Young Rock.” “I come from a musical theater background, which is how I initially got into acting professionally, so I love Broadway! Live theater is already so special, but there is nothing like a Broadway show.”

Comedy Central founder Art Bell says that Denali National Park and Preserve in Alaska is a wonderful vacation spot: “Because cars weren’t allowed in the park, we had to take a four-hour bus ride to get there. We hiked every day, avoided a confrontation with a grizzly bear and met some remarkable people. The view of Denali mountain was spectacular.”

“I am a first-generation American,” said “Days of Our Lives” actress Victoria Konefal. “Polish was actually my first language. I remember learning English by watching ‘Sesame Street’ and ‘Barney’ on repeat. I was a big fan. Learning other languages comes very easily to me, and I assume it’s because I was raised bilingual.”
Gloria Reuben has had quite the career. “I didn’t understand how important Salt-N-Pepa were to the hip-hop game as female artists until I got to know who they were personally and (after) learning my script,” said GG Townson, who portrays Salt in the Lifetime biopic.
