The actress said that all the cheerful messages brightened her day, especially since she hasn’t been feeling great. She is in the midst of a month-long hiatus from work to recuperate from exhaustion.

Addressing rumors that the actress has contracted coronavirus, her agency Entertainment IAM said:

Jeon So-Min went to the doctor on March 30. She received treatment because she was not in good health. She is currently resting at home. It is completely unrelated to COVID-19 and is a temporary break due to fatigue.

SBS, the network that airs “Running Man,” confirmed that Jeon would rest for about a month or so and then would return to the variety show when her health was better.

Although the show isn’t as physically demanding as it was during the first few years, the cast members are often involved in segments where they have to run around or exert themselves.

Do you remember Jeon So-Min’s first appearances on the show? It wasn’t as a full-time cast member, but as a guest. She appeared on Episodes 224 and 343 to promote her work as an actress. She and comedian Yang Se-Chan became full-time cast members as of Episode 346 in April 2017. They have been the only additions to the show since the departures of Kang Gary (2016) and Song Joong-Ki (2011).

Incidentally, Song Ji-Hyo was a guest before making her debut as a full-time member early on in Episode 7 in 2010.

Jeon So-Min has become famous for her dancing skills, flirting with all the male guests and her ability to turn into a human magnet (one of her skills is sticking a spoon on her nose).
