Have you heard? Hilton Hotel heiresses Paris and Nicky Hilton are the latest “celebrity” designers. Last GLARE noticed, the only designs the sisters had before were on the likes of hottie actors Leonardo DiCaprio and Edward Furlong.

Here’s a look at some of the famous folks who were able to sidestep design classes before hawking their wares:

Paris and Nicky Hilton
The model It girls have decided to take a stab at designing purses. Both party-hearty sisters are working on a collection for Tokyo’s Samantha Thavasa label. No ETA has been announced for their design debut. Kate Spade shouldn’t be too worried, but the same can’t be said for Monica Lewinsky.

Monica Lewinsky
Speaking of whom, the world’s most famous former intern continues to churn out tacky little handbags that are selling at trendy shops such as Henri Bendel and Fred Segal. Her line, “Made especially for you by Monica,” ranges from $24 to $190. Not sure if fabric from that infamous blue Gap dress was used on any of her creations.

Shoshanna Lonstein
Jerry Seinfeld’s former teen dream parlayed her fame-by-association into a career as a fashion designer. Though no one would mistake her designs for Stella McCartney’s sophisticated creations, Lonstein has done well enough to branch out into swimwear. The full-figured gal’s designs are more forgiving of a normal-size woman.
