Tanaye White has put aside her career in defense and aerospace to concentrate on modeling, which includes a photoshoot for Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issue.
“I really feel like the pandemic gave me a chance to grow and get to know myself more,” said “Blindspotting” actress Jaylen Barron. “I’ve discovered things about myself that a year and a half ago I wouldn’t even think I would like or dislike.”

“I never fully understood the privileges I had as a westerner until I started to travel outside of the country,” said “The Good Doctor” actress Jasika Nicole. “My first trip out of the States was when I was in my mid-20s, so I had a perspective about these experiences that I probably would not have had if I had been traveling the world as a kid.”
“I haven’t traveled at all during the pandemic,” said Emmy Award winner Ashley Nicole Black. “At first, I was spending a lot of my down time taking long walks with my dog — too long. She started refusing the walks! My mom built a gazebo in her backyard with a couch, chairs, fans, a TV, the works. So, our new vacation spot is her backyard with a glass of ice tea.”
“I had planned to visit Tadanobu Asano, who plays Lord Raiden in ‘Mortal Kombat,’ in Japan to catch the cherry blossom festival.” said Chin Han, who portrays Shang Tsung in the film. “But it was not to be (due to the pandemic).”

Comedy Central founder Art Bell says that Denali National Park and Preserve in Alaska is a wonderful vacation spot: “Because cars weren’t allowed in the park, we had to take a four-hour bus ride to get there. We hiked every day, avoided a confrontation with a grizzly bear and met some remarkable people. The view of Denali mountain was spectacular.”
