2. All joking aside, one of the things that makes RM standout is his ability to take a foreign language like American English — with its sometimes oddball vernacular/varying accents — and adapt to it in an appropriate manner. Seoul Town Road isn't just a forced contrived twang.

17. 1/4 My mom worries that I didn't get enough to eat as a little kid in Korea. I don't remember ever being hungry.

    Tonight, I had a difficult time throwing out old cooked rice that had started to turn pink. I knew it was spoiled, but I kept trying to justify ways to eat it.

21. 1/3 I was a young fan of boy bands who couldn't attend shows w/o someone older accompanying me. As a reporter, I covered U.S. boy bands where the audience demographic was similar. This isn't true w/KPOP. Despite the narrative that media is pushing, fans ARE older & more diverse.
