Go Away With … Wolfgang Puck
Famed Spago chef Wolfgang Puck is the latest judge on the âTop Chef: Seattle.â Puck says heâs excited to be a part of the 10th season of the Emmy and James Beard Award-winning series. âThe show is a lot of fun for me and I enjoy watching what the chefs come up with each week,â says the 63-year-old author and TV personality. âWhen I was starting out, I knew I found cooking to be interesting. But I never imagined that people would enjoy watching chefs on television competing in the kitchen. Itâs wonderful.â

Born in China, classical pianist Lang Lang splits his time between New York City and Beijing â when heâs not touring, that is. The 30-year-old musician travels about nine months each year for his concerts, his work with the United Nations Childrenâs Fund (UNICEF) and his International Education Foundation, which helps inspire kids through classical music. His latest CD, âThe Chopin Album,â is now in stores.

“On our first trip to Guatemala, one of our [mission] members had a heart attack and passed away,” recalls actor Lucas Grabeel. “That was devastating. My parents were giving him CPR for an hour and a half while we waited for the ambulance to come. It was pretty traumatizing for a 12 year old. The next year, we brought a monument for him. Iâm definitely going to go back and look for it and help people again. Iâd also like time to explore the country as well. We did a little bit of that, but our job was to help people when we were there. Guatemalaâs really a beautiful country.”

Opera star Placido Domingo, 71, was born in Spain. At the age of eight, he traveled to Mexico, where he studied piano and conducting at Mexico Cityâs Conservatory of Music. Since then, his repertoire includes more than 140 stage roles, 100 recordings and multiple television appearances. For his work, he has won an Emmy and 13 Grammys.

Melissa Francis has an unusual background for a news anchor. As a child, she was a regular on âLittle House on the Prairie,â portraying Michael Landonâs adopted daughter. Later, as a student at Harvard University, she was captain of the universityâs polo team. The host of the FOX Business Networkâs âMoney with Melissa Francisâ has also written a soon-to-be-released memoir, âDiary of a Stage Motherâs Daughterâ (Weinstein Books, $26).
