GLARE is disturbed by reports that the split of Hollywood cute couple Jennifer Garner and Scott Foley may be due to her career overshadowing his. But Foley isn’t the first celebrity hubby to have to bask in the reflected spotlight of his wife’s glory. Here’s a look at some of their resumes.

Jennifer Garner and Scott Foley (married in Oct. 2000)

GARNER: Claim to fame: Stars in the critically acclaimed but little watched “Alias.” Smooched Leonardo DiCaprio in Steven Spielberg’s “Catch Me If You Can,” and stole the limelight away from Ben Affleck in “Daredevil.”

FOLEY: Claim to fame:Co-starred in the critically acclaimed but little-watched “Felicity.” Met Garner when she was cast as his ex-girlfriend. His most recent series, “A.U.S.A.,” flopped miserably. Best known as Garner’s husband. Er, make that soon-to-be ex-husband.

Hillary Swank and Chad Lowe (married in Sept. 1997)

SWANK: Claim to fame: Won the Oscar for her riveting turn in “Boys Don’t Cry.” Proved she could overcome roles in the “Karate Kid” franchise and TV’s “Beverly Hills, 90210.”

LOWE: Claim to fame: Being Rob Lowe’s younger brother. Co-starred as an HIV-positive teen on the TV series “Life Goes On.” He cried like a baby when his wife won the Oscar–perhaps because she forgot to thank him at the podium.

Rebecca Romijn-Stamos and John Stamos (married in Sept. 1998)

ROMIJN-STAMOS: Claim to fame: Hosting MTV’s “House of Style” and appearing in Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issues. Parlayed a modeling career into roles on “Just Shoot Me” and the feature hit “X-Men.” Proved herself to be a real actress in Brian De Palma’s “Femme Fatale.”

STAMOS: Claim to fame: Became a heartthrob on “General Hospital.” Remained a heartthrob on “Full House.” Played drums with the Beach Boys. His most recent series, “Thieves,” tanked in 2001. Threw his wife a big bash for her 30th birthday. Nice way to ingratiate himself.

Halle Berry and Eric Benet (married in Jan. 2001)

BERRY: Claim to fame: Became the first African-American woman to win the best actress trophy at the Oscars for “Monster’s Ball.” A Revlon spokeswoman and likely to be the first Bond girl to get a spinoff movie.

BENET: Claim to fame: Grammy-nominated singer. Better known these days for cheating on the impossibly beautiful Berry. Checked himself into rehab last year for sex addiction. One of his alleged gal pals said she slept with Benet days before Berry won her Oscar.
