Santa Claus, IND.

When you hit the intersection of Christmas Blvd. and Kringle Place, you’ve reached Santa Claus, Ind., where it’s anything but ho-ho-hum for those who get a big kick out of all things Santa. The post office features jolly ol’ St. Nick climbing up its premises. His cherubic, red-cheeked face decorates just about every shop dotting the quaint city blocks (our favorite is the Ho Ho Ho Video store). Thirsty? Pop over for a hot toddy at Santa’s Lodge, drowning in ornate Christmas decorations. Need some action? Take a break from Santa gawking by playing a round of miniature golf next door at Frosty’s Fun Spot. All you Tiger Woods wannabes can give the Christmas Lake Golf Course a shot. And if you’re feeling hearty, try camping at the Lake Rudolph Campground. A red light will guide you.
